IKEA is Terrible
I shopped at IKEA in Richmond and spent quite an amount of money on their products. But I found their costumer service terrible. First, I saw an item in the show room, I copied down the aisle number and everything. But when I went down to the self--pickup area, I couldn't find it. So i asked a worker there (by the way, it took me AGES to find just one worker. Nobody was there at the information table) .The answer I got from the guy was that the item ran out of stock and they would never produce it again. I would it was weird how they still put it in the showroom . Anyways, I got another product instead (which was under my expectation). BUT the next time,when I shopped at IKEA again, I found the exact same one both in the showroom and the self-pickup area. They gave me false information and that is what I disliked.
But what I am really upset about is that the IKEA I shopped at doesn't offer returns nor exchanges. It was ridiculous how I have to drive all the way to another IKEA, just to return some small items. So basically, everything I bought was final sale. That is really unfair to me as a customer. I paid money for those items and I still couldn't get full service. If they can not provide full service, then why are they still operating? They
tricked the costumers into buying items that can't be returned.
I had a bad experience with IKEA. I will never return there again and will advise others to do so.
