Very Poor Service - Very Poor Service by SHAHID
I went to Ikea Store in Alexandra quite frequent;y. I am not sure if any of the consumer notice 1 staff whom I think is a customer service. He is always located at 1st level at the house candles and plants area. Me and my famil notice that
1) He always scratch his hands and fingers which we saw have quite bad skin disease/irritation. He seems not t bother aout his surroundings and mind his own business.
2) When we were selecting things from the rack, we saw him walk to/fro without stopping and smiling to himself. My son saw him and realised and he smile bck at him thinking that the staff was smillimg at him. whne my son approach him, with a very rude voice he said "NO, I didn't smile at you" and he just walk off. We saw him at anoher section towards the corner and we saw him did the same walking mode. Is he having some mental issue or does the management aware of his problem?
3) The same guy again we say during our last visit. This tie he wore long sleeve shirt. He still have the same routine mode of walking. Then my wife was finding some stuff but unable to find the one she likes. She asked the staff that we spotted and to our surprise, he said "This is a self-sevice area and he is task to assist1!! We were puzzled and then we request him to help find the item from the system list but he just rudely tell ask off and said that he is going for his break.Before he walked off, my wife found from his name tag that the staff name is SHAHID, if she not mistaken.
Does Ikea conduct a proper assesment when employ any candidate?
Is this the kind of service given by the staff or he lacks of training or just that he has bad attitude?
