Selling Furniture not suitable for HK's humidity. - BRUSALI Wardrobe
We bought a wardrobe Mid Nov 2014 from IKEA Kowloon. By May 2015 we noticed one of the doors is uneven to the other. After examination my husband thought it was bent. We suspected it was due to humidity. I contacted IKEA. They sent someone over to confirm our suspicion. Even IKEA staff agreed this model is not suitable for HK and same issue happened before. We are not the only one. They said IKEA customer service would contact me within 4 working days. After 5 working days I contacted them. Informed by Rosa Lau that the wardrobe has no warranty therefore I'm out of luck. As a goodwill she's offering me a 10% discount for the next one? May I ask would you buy another furniture fro
IKEA HK again knowing IKEA HK is selling furnitures that are NOT suitable for the local weather/humidity on purpose? This means IKEA is cheating consumers. If you posted a sign next to items that may be damaged unless than a year after purchase due to humidity, do you think anyone will waste the money
